Yoga is many things for yogis. For me, it is divine. It is what grounds me. It helps me connect to the wealth of bliss that pervaded the lives of my ancestors.
In today's world, it is well known for its physical benefits. But this 5000-year-old discipline also does wonders for mental health and well-being.
I practice an ancient form of yoga called Hatha Yoga. This form of yoga balances the solar and lunar energies of the human body.
I have been practicing Yoga for 4 years. I'm a trained instructor and I obtained my training at a Yoga college in Mysore, India, one of the Yoga capitals of the world (and my native town).
